Al Ain Football Club (referred to as "Al Ain", English name Al Ain FC), founded on August 1, 1968, is a professional football club located in Al Ain City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The club quickly gained recognition and popularity throughout the country, becoming the club with the most titles (a total of 38). It has set a record by winning 14 UAE Professional League titles, 7 President's Cup titles, 5 Super Cup titles, 3 AFC Cup titles, 2 League Cup titles, 2 Abu Dhabi Championship titles, 2 United League titles, 2 Gulf Club Champions Cup titles, 2 AFC Champions League titles, and 1 UAE-Morocco Super Cup title. It is the first and only UAE team to win the AFC Champions League title, and remains the most successful club in the UAE to date.
The golden era was from 1997 to 2003 during which the team achieved excellent results in the domestic league and the AFC Champions League. The new era began in 2016 and in the 2023-24 season they reached the AFC Champions League final where they faced Yokohama F. Marinos Marinos (Yokohama F. Marinos) They lost the the first leg 2-1 but won the the first second 5-1 with an aggregate score of 6-3 to to the win championship.
