Team Introduction

Albacete Balompié, founded on August 2, 1940, is a professional football club based in Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. The club has experienced multiple promotions and relegations throughout its history. Its most successful period was in the early 1990s, when, under coach Benito Floro, it rose from the third division to La Liga in two years and finished seventh in the 1991/92 season. The club returned to La Liga in the 2002/03 season but was relegated due to poor performance. Albacete has participated in seven La Liga seasons, 13 Segunda División seasons, and numerous lower-division leagues.

The club has experienced promotions and relegations throughout its history. Its most glorious period was in the early 1990s, under coach Benito Floro, who led the team to consecutive promotions from the third division to La Liga in two years, and achieved 7th place in the 1991/92 season. In the 2002/03 season, the club was promoted to La Liga again, but due to poor performance, it was eventually relegated. Alavés has participated in 7 seasons in La Liga, 13 seasons in Segunda División, and many more seasons in lower leagues.
