Jong PSV Eindhoven (Youth), often referred to as "Jong PSV Eindhoven," was established in 2013 and is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. It is the reserve team of PSV Eindhoven, a prominent club in the Dutch Eredivisie.
As a reserve team, Jong PSV Eindhoven does not compete for the championship title, but achieved its best result in the 2015-2016 season, finishing ninth in the Eredivisie. In the 2021-2022 season, they won 4-1 against Jong Ajax, showcasing their youth development capabilities. In the match against Jong De Graafschap in 2023, the team completed 387 passes, setting a new record for technical play in the Eredivisie.
The PSV youth academy is renowned for developing world-class players, with stars like De Jong and Malen having emerged from there to compete on the international stage. Although the system's structure prevents direct promotion to the Eredivisie, the team consistently adheres to the philosophy of "attacking football and technical development," providing the first team with 3-5 qualified players each year, making it the most important talent incubator for PSV and Dutch football.
