SC Bastia, commonly known as "Bastia", was founded in 1905 and is a professional football club located in Bastia, Corsica, France.
The club has achieved several honors in its history, including the French Cup in 1981, the Intertoto Cup in 1997, and reached the UEFA Cup final in 1978. The team has also won the Ligue 2 championship twice. In 2017, due to financial issues, Bastia was stripped of its professional status and was relegated to the fifth tier of French football.
