Viktoria Plzen Football Club (abbreviated as "Plzen", English name: FC Viktoria Plzen) was founded in 1911 and is a professional football club located in Plzen, western Czech Republic.
The club has won the Czech First League championship more than 5 times, with their first league title in the 2010-11 season marking the beginning of the club's golden era. After winning the Czech Cup in 2010, the team returned to European competitions and continued to make history in the following years. In the 2011-12 season, they reached the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time, competing alongside giants like Barcelona and AC Milan, and eventually moved on to the UEFA Europa League knockout stage.
In the 2025 UEFA Europa League knockout stage, they were unfortunately eliminated after a two-legged battle against the Serie A powerhouse Lazio. As a regular participant in European competitions, Viktoria Plzeň not only maintains a stable performance in the domestic league but also repeatedly proves its strength in European matches, with players often becoming the focus of other leagues in Europe.
