In the 2019-20 season, the "Klopp" era began, leading Borussia Dortmund back to the top. Building on the previous season, they improved and finished fifth in the Bundesliga, qualifying for the Europa League. A year later, they successfully defended their Bundesliga title, capping off the 2011-12 season perfectly.
