Ferencvárosi TC, commonly known as Ferencváros, was founded in 1899 and is a professional football club based in Hungary.
This team, primarily in green and white and nicknamed "The Green Eagles", is the most successful club in Hungarian football history, holding records of over 30 league titles and more than 20 cup titles. As the only Hungarian team to reach the UEFA Champions League group stage, they eliminated Anderlecht and FC Zürich in 1995, ultimately losing to Ajax. They defeated Juventus to win the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1965.
In 2006, the team faced its first relegation in history due to financial issues, but quickly returned to the top league and began a new dynasty, achieving seven consecutive league titles from 2019 to 2025. The rivalry with Újpest is regarded as the Hungarian Derby, with a vibrant home atmosphere, although it has been marred by controversies due to racist behavior from extreme fans.
