Cádiz Football Club (abbreviated as "Cádiz", English name: Cadiz CF) was founded on September 10, 1910, and is a professional football club based in Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain.

The first recorded match of Cádiz Football Club was on Thursday, September 8, 1910, against Cádiz Sports Club. Cádiz Football Club won 1-0. Two days later, on September 10, 1910, several citizens of Cádiz called for the registration of a club in the name of Cádiz Football Club with the civil authorities. One of the founders was José Rivera Lora, the first president of Cádiz. From 1929 to 1977, Cádiz Football Club played in the Spanish Segunda or Tercera divisions. In 1977, Cádiz Football Club was promoted to La Liga for the first time, and since then, Cádiz Football Club has competed in the top division for several seasons.

The legendary figure of El Salvador, Magico Gonzalez, played for Cadiz Club in the 1980s and 1990s, and he is thus regarded as the best player since the team's advantage.
