Castellón Football Club (abbreviated as "Castellón", English name: CD Castellón) was founded on July 20, 1922, and is a professional football club located in the province of Castellón, Valencia Community, Spain.
The team has historically won the Segunda División championship twice (in 1981 and 1989). In the first half of 2023, Albert Rudé served as the head coach, achieving an average score of 1.52 points per game, primarily using a 4-2-3-1 formation.
On July 19, 2025, the team defeated Valencia CF 2-1 in a pre-season friendly. In terms of players, Bryan Chibanga joined on a free transfer in July 2024, with a contract until June 2026. He made 15 appearances and scored 3 goals in the 2023/24 season; Oscar Gil has been with the club since July 2022, with a contract also until June 2026.
