Kristiansund Ballklubb (abbreviated as "Kristiansund", English name: Kristiansund BK) was established in 2003 and is a football club located in Norway. It was formed by the merger of two local traditional clubs, Kristiansund FK and Gossen FK. This team from the west coast of Norway made the leap from establishment to the top league in just over a decade.
In 2016, Kristiansund made history by winning the Norwegian First Division championship for the first time and successfully promoted to the Eliteserien. This promotion marked the official entry of this young team into the top tier of Norwegian football. As an emerging force in west coast football, Kristiansund has gradually established itself in the competitive Eliteserien with its rapid growth and tenacious playing style.
