Colorado Rapids Football Club, abbreviated as "Rapids" (in English: Colorado Rapids Football Club), was established in 1995 and is a professional soccer club based in the Denver metropolitan area of the United States.
The team is operated by Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, which also owns other well-known sports clubs such as the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Arsenal. The team reached the MLS Cup final in 1997, made it to the U.S. Open Cup final in 1999, and had a remarkable playoff run in 2010, ultimately lifting the MLS Cup trophy, marking a highlight in the club's history.
