Team Introduction

The Lithuania national football team (abbreviated as "Lithuania", English name: Lithuania national football team) was established in 1922 and is managed by the Lithuanian Football Federation as a national-level football team.

From 1940 to 1990, Lithuania was incorporated into the Soviet Union, and after regaining independence in 1990, the national team resumed international competitions in the same year. In the UEFA Nations League C Division held in the second half of 2024, they failed to secure a victory. Entering 2025, the team started the World Cup qualifiers with a loss to Poland, but then drew with Finland and Malta, and scored two goals in a match against the strong Netherlands, demonstrating some resilience.
