Ludogorets Razgrad Football Club (abbreviated as "Ludogorets", English name: PFC Ludogorets Razgrad) was founded on June 18, 1945, and is a professional football club located in Bulgaria.
Since winning their first championship in the 2011-12 season, this red and black army has claimed over 10 Bulgarian top league titles and achieved back-to-back championships in the 2023-24 season. In the 2024 UEFA Champions League qualifying round, they eliminated Georgia's Dinamo Batumi. Although they were later defeated by Hungary's Ferencváros, the team's stable core lineup includes strong players like Brazilian striker Claudiu Keșerü.
As a representative of Bulgarian football on the European stage, Ludogorets has built a competitive squad through continuous investment. The team maintains a high level of squad stability, and although key midfielder Piotrowski will leave in the summer of 2025, the overall framework remains intact. This Eastern European upstart is consolidating its dominance in Bulgarian football with consistent performances and gradually enhancing its influence on the European stage.
