Olympique de Marseille, commonly known as "Marseille", was founded in 1899 and is a professional football club based in Marseille, France. It is one of the historic powerhouses of French football and is also the French team that has won the UEFA Champions League.
Marseille's journey has been dramatic. Marseille has always been a strong contender for the Champions League spots, successfully returning to the Champions League in 2025.
