MVV Maastricht, abbreviated as "Maastricht", was founded in 1902 and is located in Maastricht, Netherlands. It is a Dutch professional football club.
Although the club has been competing in the Dutch Second Division for many years, it has historically been the runner-up in the Dutch First Division during the 1931-1932 and 1935-1936 seasons. Additionally, the team won the Dutch Second Division stage championship in the 1986-1987 and 2013-2014 seasons. MVV Maastricht's honors include being the runner-up in the KNVB Cup in 1949 and 1957.
