Panathinaikos Football Club (abbreviated as "Panathinaikos", English name: Panathinaikos F.C.) was founded on February 3, 1908, and is a professional football club based in Athens, the capital of Greece.
This team, known as the "Green-White Army", holds the highest achievements of Greek football in European competitions, reaching the UEFA Champions League final in 1971, becoming the first Greek club to reach this height. Domestically, they have won the league championship over 20 times and lifted the Greek Cup more than 15 times. In 2024, they introduced strong players such as Tete and Philipp Max. In European competitions, they have had exciting matches against strong teams like Marseille and Ajax, and successfully advanced to the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2024/25 season.
