Sandefjord Football, abbreviated as "Sandefjord", was established on September 10, 1998, and is a football club located in Sandefjord, Norway.
Just one year after its establishment, the team successfully promoted to the Norwegian First Division and quickly demonstrated its strength to challenge for the top league. From 2002 to 2005, Sandefjord consistently maintained a top position in the league, finishing third in both 2002 and 2003, fourth in 2004, and ultimately promoted directly to the Norwegian Premier League as runners-up in 2005, completing a rapid ascent from establishment to the top league.
