FC Inter Turku (shortened as "Inter Turku", in English: Inter Turku) was founded in 1990 and is a professional football club based in Turku, Finland.

In 1992, under the initiative of founder Stefan Håkans, the senior team was formed, starting from the third tier of Finnish football, Kolmonen, and finishing fifth in their first season. In 1993, they were promoted to the second tier, Kakkonen, and successfully moved up to the top tier by bringing in three Brazilian players and experienced Finnish player Tro Fost at the end of the season. In 1995, they successfully reached the top league for the second time, and in their first season in the top league in 1996, they had an impressive performance, finishing sixth overall.

In 2000, the strategy for introducing Argentine players was initiated, and in 2001, the team became the only top-tier league team in Turku. In 2008, they achieved their first historical championship, dominating opponents, including local rivals TPS, throughout the league, ultimately securing the title ahead of schedule. In 2009, they won their first Finnish Cup. During this period, the team frequently ranked among the top in the league, achieving their best historical league ranking of fourth in 2004, and continuously enhancing their competitiveness through a combination of youth training and foreign players. In 2011, they finished as league runners-up, and in 2022, they secured the league cup runners-up and Finnish cup runners-up, maintaining their competitiveness in cup competitions.
