Team Introduction

Charlotte Football Club (abbreviated as "Charlotte", English name: Charlotte Football Club), established in 2019, is a professional men's soccer club in the United States.

As the 28th team in the league, it joined the Eastern Conference in 2022. This team from Charlotte, North Carolina shares Bank of America Stadium as its home ground with the NFL's Carolina Panthers. In the 2024 season, the team successfully reached the playoffs but was narrowly defeated by Orlando City in the first round of the best-of-three series with an overall score of 1-2, where a 2-5 loss in the second leg away match ended their playoff journey in the round of 16.

In August 2024, the club signed former Fulham defender and U.S. international Tim Ream, and in January 2025, they loaned experienced Ivorian winger Wilfried Zaha, both of which strengthened the defense and wing attack.
