Exeter City Football Club, founded in 1904, is a professional football club located in Exeter, Devon, in the southwest of England. (Exeter City F.C.)

Throughout its history, the club has primarily competed in lower leagues in England, experiencing numerous promotions and relegations. After being relegated to the National League in 2003, the club returned to League Two via the playoffs in the 2007-08 season, and finished as runners-up in the following season to earn promotion to League One. After being relegated back to League Two in the 2011-12 season, the club once again finished as runners-up in the 2021-22 season to earn promotion to League One.

The club's home ground is St James Park, with a capacity of approximately 8,700 spectators. Exeter City's traditional county rivals include Plymouth and Torquay. In 2004, to celebrate the club's centenary, they played a friendly match against a Brazilian All-Stars team.

Exeter City has won the Fourth Division, finished as runners-up in the Second Division, and won the National League play-offs, as well as reaching the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
