FC Emmen (commonly known as "Emmen", English name: FC Emmen), founded in 1925, is a Dutch professional football club located in the city of Emmen, Drenthe province, Netherlands.
The club's most significant achievement in its history was in the 2018-19 season, when it won the Dutch second division championship for the first time and was promoted to the Eredivisie, marking the first time in its century-long history that it reached the top league. In cup competitions, Emmen reached the round of eight in the Dutch Cup in the 2011-2012 season, and in the 2017-2018 season, it surprisingly eliminated the Eredivisie powerhouse Feyenoord, creating a classic match in the club's history. In the 2022-2023 Eredivisie relegation battle, the team miraculously reversed the situation in the final moments to secure its place in the league, a moment known as the "Drenthe Miracle.
