Barnet Football Club (abbreviated as "Barnet", English name: Barnet F.C.) was established in 1888 and is a professional football club located in Barnet, London, England.
The team participated in amateur leagues for a long time in its early years until it became a semi-professional team in 1965. In the 2013/14 season, Barnet moved its home ground to The Hive Stadium, located near the London Borough of Harrow. In the 2014/15 season, they won the English National League championship for the third time, successfully returning to the English Football League Two.
Barnet has developed several players who later made it to the Premier League, such as Dodge Friedman, who transferred to Crystal Palace, Marlon King, who played for multiple clubs, Linvoy Primus, who played for Reading and Portsmouth, and goalkeeper Mike Taylor, who played for Fulham, Birmingham City, and others. English football legend Jimmy Greaves also played for the team before retiring.
The team has won the Athenian League championship multiple times in its history and has had outstanding performances in the Amateur Cup and the FA Trophy. After winning the Corinthian League championship for the first time in the 1990-91 season, they were promoted to the professional league, experiencing several promotions and relegations, including relegation from the English League Two in the 2012-13 season, and then winning the championship again two years later to be promoted.
