Pisa Football Club (abbreviated as "Pisa", in English: Pisa) was founded in 1909 and is a football club located in Pisa, Tuscany, Italy.
Historically, the club has undergone multiple reorganizations due to financial issues. It was restructured as "Pisa Football Club" in 1994. In 2009, it was excluded from the Italian football system due to an inability to raise sufficient funds to repay debts, and was restructured again, changing its name to "1909 Pisa Football Club". In 2021, it reverted to "Pisa Football Club". The club has won the Mitropa Cup twice, in 1986 and 1988. In 2021, billionaire Knaster acquired 75% of its shares.
The team first entered Serie A in 1968, competed in Serie A multiple times during the 1980s, but fell into a low period after 1990, spending a long time in lower divisions. In the 2024-25 Serie B season, under the leadership of coach Inzaghi, the team was promoted as runners-up, ending a 34-year absence from Serie A and marking a revival.
