Team Introduction

The Bolivia National Football Team (abbreviated as "Bolivia", English name: Bolivia National Football Team) was established in 1925 and is managed by the Bolivia Football Association.

The Bolivia national team has long been at the bottom of the South American standings in terms of competitive performance. This team from the Andes mountains has appeared in the World Cup finals three times (in 1930 as a founding participant, in 1950 as an invited participant, and in 1994 after qualifying through the qualifiers), but only the 1994 appearance was achieved through qualification.

In 1963, taking advantage of the 3600-meter altitude of their home ground in La Paz, they surprisingly lifted the Copa América trophy; 34 years later, in the 1997 Copa América, they reached the finals but ultimately finished as runners-up to the Brazilian team led by "the Phenomenon" Ronaldo.
