Dallas Football Club (abbreviated as "Dallas", English name: Football Club Dallas) was established on June 6, 1995, and is a professional soccer club in the United States. The team began competing in 1996 as a charter club of the league.
As one of the founding members of MLS, the team has gradually become an important force in American soccer over more than twenty years of development, producing several U.S. national team players and being renowned for its youth training system.
The club is owned by the Hunter Sports Group, which is led by brothers Clark Hunter and Dan Hunter. The Hunter family also holds partial ownership of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs and the Chicago Bulls.
