Team Introduction

Torino Football Club (abbreviated as "Torino", English name: A.C. Milan), founded in 1906, is a professional football club based in Turin, Piedmont, Italy, competing in Serie A, nicknamed "The Red Bulls". Juventus is the city rival, known as the Mole Derby.

Founded in 1906 under the leadership of Alfredo Dick, the "Miracle Trident" in the 1920s helped the team win the Serie A twice (with the first official title in 1928). The "Grande Torino" dynasty in the 1940s achieved five consecutive championships, winning the double for the first time in 1943, and was the core of the Italian national team. The Superga air disaster in 1949 led to the death of the entire team, marking the end of the dynasty.

In 1959, they were first relegated to Serie B, and in the 1960s, Meloni became a symbol of the club. They won the Coppa Italia twice in 1967 and 1971. In the 1975-76 season, they secured their 7th Serie A title, which remains their last championship in history. The 1990s were marked by European competition highlights, including being runners-up in the UEFA Cup in 1992 and winning the Coppa Italia for the 5th time in 1993, but they faced multiple relegations due to financial crises.

In 2005, the club went through bankruptcy restructuring, and after Cairo took over, stability was achieved. They were promoted in 2012 and returned to the UEFA Europa League in the 2013-14 season. In their history, they have won Serie A 7 times, the Coppa Italia 5 times, and the Mitropa Cup once. The Superga disaster and the 'Grande Torino' legend have become historical landmarks.
