Team Introduction

Toronto Football Club (abbreviated as "Toronto", in English: Toronto Football Club) was established in 2005 and is a professional soccer club based in Toronto, Canada.

The club officially began competing in 2007. As a team under the MLSE sports group, it became the first team in MLS history to win the Canadian Championship, the Supporters' Shield, and the MLS Cup in a single season in 2017, achieving the "treble."

Toronto FC has one of the most passionate fan bases in MLS, with season tickets sold out year-round and a large traveling fan contingent that ranks among the best in the league. The "401 Derby" against Montreal Impact is named after the highway connecting the two cities and has become the most exciting matchup in Canadian soccer. In 2018, they became the first Canadian team to reach the final of this competition. As a flagship club of Canadian soccer, Toronto FC has not only produced stars like Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore, but its youth academy has also supplied several national team players to the Canadian national team.
