Team Introduction

The France national men's football team (abbreviated as "France", English name: France national football team) was established in 1904 and is managed by the French Football Federation as a national-level football team.

As one of the participating teams in the inaugural 1930 World Cup, they lifted the FIFA World Cup trophy for the first time at the home World Cup in 1998, and achieved their second title in Russia in 2018. This national team, managed by the French Football Federation, has also won the UEFA European Championship twice, in 1984 and 2000, becoming one of only three national teams, alongside Spain and West Germany, to win both the World Cup and the European Championship consecutively.

From the U17 to U21 European Championships, to the World Youth Championship and the Olympics, the French youth team has reached the highest podium. In 2021, they won the UEFA Nations League for the first time, becoming the first team in the world to win all major national team tournament titles.

In the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, the French team, led by stars like Griezmann, Mbappé, and Pogba, won the championship by defeating Croatia 4-2. Four years later, at the Qatar World Cup, despite facing serious injury challenges, the French team still demonstrated their strong capabilities, advancing to the final, where they ultimately lost to Argentina in a penalty shootout, missing the chance to defend their title.
