Fulham Football Club (commonly known as "Fulham", and in English: Fulham F.C.) is a professional football club based in Fulham, London, England, nicknamed "The Cottagers". The club is the oldest professional football club in London, founded in 1879, and currently competes in the Premier League, with the West London derby against Chelsea and Brentford being highly anticipated.
Gained professional status in 1898, won the Southern League title twice in 1905-07, and joined the Football League in 1907. They first won the Second Division title in 1948-49, and legendary player Johnny Haynes led the team to stabilize in the top division after promotion in 1958 until 1968.
Entered the FA Cup final for the first time in 1975, acquired by Al-Fayed in 1997 with investment, and promoted to the Premier League in 2001. In the 2009-10 season, Hodgson led the team to the UEFA Europa League final, achieving the club's best performance in European competitions.
After the Khan family took over in 2013, the team experienced multiple promotions and relegations, winning the Championship in the 2021-22 season to return to the Premier League, and setting a club record for points in the Premier League in the 2024-25 season.
