Kataller Toyama, abbreviated as "Toyama Victory", was established in 2007 and is located in Toyama City, the capital of Toyama Prefecture. It is a professional football club in Japan. As early as 2005, the Toyama Football Association discussed the idea of merging clubs, but the discussions at that time did not yield results, and finally, Kataller Toyama was established in 2007.
In 2008, the club joined the Japan Football League and qualified for the J2 League in the same year. After six years in the J2 League, Kataller Toyama was relegated to the J3 League before the 2015 season due to finishing at the bottom of the J2 League. In 2024, Kataller Toyama drew 2-2 with Matsumoto Yamaga and successfully promoted to the J2 League, ending a 10-year journey in the third division.
