Team Introduction

Inter Milan Football Club (abbreviated as "Inter Milan", English name: Football Club Internazionale Milano) was founded in 1908 by a group of players who split from the Milan Cricket and Football Club (now AC Milan) due to dissatisfaction with the club's restrictions on foreign players. The name signifies the acceptance of players from all nations. It is located in Milan, Italy, and is one of the top football clubs in Italy.

In 1910, Inter won its first league title, and in the 1930s, it entered a golden era with Giuseppe Meazza becoming a club legend, leading to the renaming of the San Siro Stadium in his honor. After World War II, the club restored its original name "Internazionale". Under coach Helenio Herrera, the team won 3 Serie A titles, 2 European Cup titles, and 2 Intercontinental Cup titles from 1960 to 1967, becoming a top European team, a period known as the "Great Inter Era". The club experienced fluctuations from the 1970s to the 1990s, winning the championship in 1989 with a record performance. The 2009-2010 season marked its peak, as under coach José Mourinho, it became the first Italian team to achieve a treble by winning Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League. In 2016, Suning Group took over, and in 2021, the club reclaimed the Serie A title, ending Juventus's nine-year championship streak. In 2023, it reached the UEFA Champions League final, and in 2024, OakTree Capital took over the club.
