Team Introduction

Legia Warsaw Football Club (abbreviated as "Legia Warsaw", in English: Legia Warszawa) was founded in 1916 and is a professional football club located in Warsaw, Poland.

This traditional powerhouse based at the Polish Army Stadium in Warsaw has won the Polish top league championship more than 10 times. The team has reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League twice in its history and made it to the semi-finals of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1991, marking one of the best performances of Polish clubs on the European stage.

In the 2024/25 season, Legia Warsaw participated in the UEFA Europa Conference League as a second-seeded team and successfully advanced to the quarter-finals, once again proving its competitiveness in European second-tier competitions. Although players like goalkeeper Jerzy Górski left during the summer transfer window of 2025, this century-old club continues to maintain a stable competitive level, continuing to write its own legendary chapter in Polish football and on the European stage.
