Casa Pia Atlético Clube (abbreviated as "Casa Pia", English name: Casa Pia Atlético Clube) was founded on January 19, 1920, and is a professional football club based in Lisbon, Portugal.
In its early years, the club participated in the Lisbon regional leagues while actively competing in the Portuguese Cup, gradually accumulating experience and team heritage in the early competitions. However, throughout its development, the club faced long periods of ups and downs and challenges, often lingering in lower-tier competitions such as the Portuguese Third Division and Second Division, experiencing a lengthy rebuilding phase during which it was unable to achieve stable level breakthroughs.
Entering the 21st century, the club experienced a critical turning point in its development. Under the adjustments in management and the leadership of the coaching team, the team's competitive state gradually improved. In the 2020-21 season, Casa Pia demonstrated strong competitiveness, winning the Campeonato de Portugal and successfully promoting to the Primeira Liga. Just one season later, the team achieved an excellent second place in the 2021-22 season, smoothly promoting back to the top tier of the Portuguese Super League after 84 years. Since returning to the Primeira Liga, the team's performance has improved year by year.
