Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa, commonly known as "Leonesa", was founded in 1923 and is a professional football club based in León, Castile and León, Spain.
The team played in La Liga during the 1955–56 season but was relegated back to Segunda División after just one season. At the beginning of the 2014–15 season, the club gained attention for introducing a unique tuxedo-style kit. In the 2016–17 season, Leonesa finished first in Group 1 of Segunda División B and won the championship through the playoffs, successfully promoting to the Spanish Segunda División.
