Team Introduction

Lincoln City Football Club (abbreviated as "Lincoln City", English name: Lincoln City F.C.) was founded in 1884 and is a professional football club located in Lincolnshire, England.

The team's home ground is Sincil Bank, which has a capacity of approximately 10,000. It is nicknamed "The Imps" or "The Red Imps" due to the famous local statue of the "Lincoln Imp". The traditional kit consists of red and white striped shirts paired with black shorts and red socks.

The club has experienced multiple promotions and relegations throughout its history, having won the Central League championship three times in its early years, and has often fluctuated between the lower divisions. In the 2016-17 season, Lincoln City was promoted to League Two as the National League champions and reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, becoming the first non-league team to achieve this in a century. In the 2018-19 season, they won the League Two championship and were promoted to League One, and in the 2020-21 season, they finished fifth in League One and reached the playoff final for promotion.
