Team Introduction

Malmö FF, abbreviated as "Malmö", was founded in 1910 and is a football club located in Malmö, Sweden.

The club holds the record for over 25 Swedish Allsvenskan championships and more than 15 Swedish Cup titles. Its most remarkable achievement was reaching the final of the European Cup in 1979, where they narrowly lost 0-1 to Nottingham Forest, which remains the best performance by a Swedish club in top European competitions.

In 2014, the team returned to the UEFA Champions League group stage, marking the first appearance of the Swedish club in the group stage after a 14-year absence. The club's home was initially at Malmö IP Stadium, moving in 1958 to the Malmö Stadium built for the World Cup, and then relocating in 2009 to the modern Swedbank Stadium. Malmö has a fierce rivalry with local opponents IFK Malmö, regional derby rivals Helsingborg, and domestic powerhouse Göteborg. The club has a large fan base, with the official supporter organization MFF Support established in 1992, promoting a non-violent and anti-discrimination fan culture.
