AS Nancy Lorraine, commonly known as "Nancy," is a professional football club based in Nancy, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department of France, founded in 1910.
Throughout its history, the club has won the Ligue 2 title five times, and in 1978, won the Coupe de France, and in 2006, won the Coupe de la Ligue. Nancy has had notable performances in European competitions, including a surprising victory over Schalke 04 in 2006, advancing to the round of 32 in the UEFA Cup. In recent years, the team has experienced ups and downs, winning the Championnat National title in 2025.
