Paderborn 07 Football Club (abbreviated as "Paderborn", English name: SC Paderborn 07) was founded in 1907 and is located in Paderborn, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a professional football club in Germany.
In the 2015-16 season, Paderborn ranked last in the 2. Bundesliga and was relegated to the 3. Liga. In the 2016-17 season, Paderborn finished third from the bottom in the 3. Liga and was originally set to be relegated to the regional league, but due to financial issues with 1860 Munich, 1860 Munich replaced Paderborn's relegation spot.
