Johor Darul Ta'zim F.C., commonly known as Johor Darul Ta'zim, was established in 1972 and is a professional football club based in Johor, Malaysia.
The club was formerly known as the Johor Economic Development Corporation Football Club and was renamed Johor Football Club in 1996. In 2013, under the leadership of the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail, it was changed to its current name.
JDT is one of the most successful football clubs in Malaysia, excelling in domestic competitions and winning multiple Malaysia Super League, FA Cup, Malaysia Cup, and Charity Shield titles. In 2015, the team won the AFC Cup, becoming the first Southeast Asian team to achieve this honor. JDT has also performed impressively in the AFC Champions League, having advanced as group winners in 2022 and reaching the Round of 16 again in 2025.
