Waalwijk Football Club (abbreviated as "Waalwijk", English name: Waalwijk) was founded in 1940 and is located in the city of Waalwijk, North Brabant province. It is a Dutch professional football club.
The club's most glorious achievements in history include winning the Dutch Second Division championship twice in the 2010-2011 and 2018-2019 seasons, successfully promoting to the Eredivisie. In cup competitions, Waalwijk reached the semifinals of the KNVB Cup twice in the 1996-1997 and 2001-2002 seasons, creating the best record in the club's history. In the 2002-2003 Eredivisie season, the team achieved a 3-1 victory at home against Feyenoord, which is regarded as one of the most classic matches in the club's history.
Waalwijk, along with Willem II, Breda, and other teams, forms a fierce derby circle in North Brabant. The club is known for developing practical players, with its youth training system renowned for emphasizing tactical discipline.
