Wycombe Wanderers Football Club (abbreviated as "Wycombe Wanderers", in English: Wycombe Wanderers F.C.) was founded in 1887 and is a professional football club located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England.
Historically, the club has spent a long time competing outside the league system, winning the Isthmian League championship more than 5 times. After winning the FA Trophy in 1993, the team was promoted to the professional league for the first time. Wycombe has had impressive performances in cup competitions, reaching the semi-finals of the FA Cup and the League Cup. In recent years, the team has experienced multiple promotions and relegations between League Two and League One, and in the 2019/20 season, they were promoted to the Championship for the first time through the playoffs, but were relegated back to League One a year later.
