FC Cincinnati, abbreviated as "Cincinnati", was founded on May 29, 2018, and is a professional soccer club based in Cincinnati, United States.
In 2019, they joined MLS and quickly became one of the most vibrant teams in the league. Founded by a group of local entrepreneurs led by Carl Lindner III, they initially showcased remarkable potential when they debuted as a USL team in 2016, not only setting a USL playoff attendance record of 30,000 but also winning the regular season championship in 2018.
In February 2023, Cincinnati announced the signing of Colombian international and former Atlético Madrid defender Arias on a free transfer; in March 2024, Yedlin was traded to Cincinnati. In August, Joakini was loaned to Cincinnati. In November, Cincinnati brought in Kevin Denke.
