Amiens SC, abbreviated as "Amiens", was founded in 1901 and is a professional football club located in the city of Amiens in northern France.
Amiens was promoted to Ligue 1 for the first time in 2017, but was relegated back to Ligue 2 a year later. Since the 2020-2021 season, they have been competing in Ligue 2, finishing 11th in the 2023-2024 season. Due to the design of their club badge, the team is nicknamed "The Unicorns" (Les Licornes) and has a relatively active fan base. Although they have not returned to the top league in recent years, the club has maintained stable operations through its youth training system.
